Interview in Rainbow Times, Lucknow

1-      Q1-How was the journey from a French teacher to an author?
Ans: This journey was a very crucial part of my life. Since, I was not a full time employee of any organisation, I was able to pen down “I Live for You..”. Otherwise it would have not been possible. I had started teaching much before I completed my graduation. And the expeience was more fun than what I expected.

2-what were the main things  you kept in mind-while writing  ‘I live for you’.
Ans: There aren’t any special things that I kept in my mind. However, I made it a point that I do not write anything that would be very sensitive or hurt any person.

3.    Do you really think that people already in commiited in a relationship fall in love again?
Ans: Why not? But, circumstances must be observed. You can’t simply fall in love with another man or woman just because of his or her looks when you still have a loving and caring partner. Also, if a person goes through such a situation in his or her life, it is necessary that you make confessions before it is too late and do not keep your partner in dark. In I Live for You.., Aaditya and Shria too do the same. They waste no time in
confessing Varun and Payal about their relationship.

4-Who motivates you to write this novel ?
Ans: Breakups and divorces which are so rampant nowadays have certainly motivated me to pen down “I Live for You..” People do not give a second thought and end up their beautiful relationships.  As said many times, “I Live for You..” will work as a prescription for broken hearts. It was very recent that I received a message on facebook from a fan who said that my book is the survivor of her relationship with her husband. I was simply satisfied.

5-IT is easy to teach French or it is easy to write novel ?
Ans: Teaching and writing are both challenging. You need preparation for both these activities. For me, since I have more experience in teaching I would say that it is comparatively easier. But, writing is pure fun. It is a stress reliever for me.

6-what are the changes that have come in your life after becoming author ?
Ans: There are many changes that have come in my life. People appreciate my efforts as I have brought “I Live for You..” at such a young age. I have become more conscious regarding what is happening around. I can also sense that I am slowly turning into a public figure, thus I must stay calm and unwavering. The way my readers have welcomed me and accpted my work is commendable. I always believe that whatever marketing plans, strategies , etc., you adopt, it is always mouth publicity that makes you strong. I am fortunate that I am getting great reviews from my readers  across the country. Thank you so much!

Happy Diwali!!

Diwali is one of the biggest festival of Hindus, celebrated with great enthusiasm and happiness in India. The festival is celebrated for five continuous days, where the third days is celebrated as the main Diwali festival or 'Festival of lights'. Different colorful varieties of fireworks are always associated with this festival.

On this auspicious day, people light up diyas and candles all around their house. They perform Laxmi Puja in the evening and seek divine blessings of Goddess of Wealth. The festival od Diwali is never complete without exchange of gifts. People present diwali gifts to all near and dear ones.

For all Hindu people, the festival holds an imperative meaning since the festival is reckoned with Lord Rama's victory as the King of Ayodhya after his return to the kingdom from 14 years of exile along with his wife Sita & brother Laxman after killing the demon, King Ravana. The festival is celebrated by lighting diyas and candles to drive away the darkness of Amavasya.
